Max Homa is a Twitter king. He knows how to utilize that platform to his advantage. A lot of times, he drops nuggets that often are hilarious.
This time, he put his prognostication skills on display regarding Jon Rahm, and it’s mind-blowing that Homa got it right. With all the rumors surrounding Rahm and his departure for LIV Golf, Homa went for it.
He tweeted about an hour before the reigning Masters champion went on Fox News to make his announcement.
“Imagine if Rahm announces this in a LIV golf letterman jacket,” Homa wrote.

Well, Rahm did just that.
Rahm donned a black and white letterman jacket with LIV Golf on the chest. It’s yet to be confirmed if Rahm will have his own team, or join the all-Spanish team. Nevertheless, the jacket clearly illustrated that his allegiance clearly has switched from the PGA Tour to LIV.
This situation became even funnier when Smash GC captain Brooks Koepka replied to Homa’s tweet.
I’ll get you one, it’ll look good over your favorite smash tee
— Brooks Koepka (@BKoepka) December 7, 2023
“I’ll get you one, it’ll look good over your favorite Smash tee,” Koepka wrote.
Koepka also took to social media to welcome Rahm and seems excited to have another major winner with him.
Without skipping a beat, Homa responded, causing some to raise eyebrows.
“I put it under my polos so I can hit it further #smash,” he wrote.
Homa is a legend on social media, and this prediction made the terrible news of Rahm’s departure about one percent easier to swallow.
Rahm shocked the golf world on Dec. 7, and while more information is coming to light, this may be the first of many dominos to fall. The future of golf may be hanging in the balance with many unknowns coming its way.
